The Story Behind the Design
I spent 15 years navigating the complex landscapes of management. From the chaotic energy of retail floors to the strategic demands of leadership, I saw a recurring pattern. Most of us are working incredibly hard, but we are often working "by accident". I watched talented people burn out not because they lacked skill, but because their "Outer Work", their daily actions, had become disconnected from their "Inner Work", their design and values, and their purpose.
The Practitioner-Scholar Approach
Driven by a need to understand the why behind human behavior, I earned my B.S. in Education and an M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. My favorite course was Measurement and Design, and for my capstone, I conducted a deep-dive research study into labor allocation and workload intensity.
The Work On Purpose Difference
At its core, Work On Purpose exists to bridge the gap between who we are and how we work. Too often, individuals feel disconnected from their roles, and organizations operate in ways that prioritize performance over people. I created this brand to address that disconnect—to help people and teams move from chaos to clarity, from burnout to alignment. The problem isn’t just broken systems; it’s a culture that often overlooks the inner work required to build meaningful, sustainable change. What makes this approach different is how it begins—not with spreadsheets or surface-level fixes, but with intention. With a background in both business and psychology, I bring a unique lens that blends strategic thinking with human insight. I believe that real impact happens when we pay attention to both process and purpose, to outcomes and the people behind them. This isn’t about optimization for optimization’s sake—it’s about helping individuals and organizations show up with integrity, clarity, and care. Work On Purpose isn’t a traditional consulting firm. It’s a mission, a mindset, and a movement toward work that works for people—not just because of them.
